1. The kindly neighbor who came along at exactly the right moment & helped me get my truck unstuck from the snow. I would have been stuck there all day without him!
2. Walking into my house after a long day of work to the delicious smell of soup cooking in the crockpot.
3. The two older gentlemen singing a cappella on the Washington blue line platform.
4. Coming home to a made bed. (I should do that more often!)
5. This laptop bag.

1. The internet! From the comfort of my own home! Finally.
2. Blueberry Oatmeal Bars left over from yesterday's potluck.
3. A warm Lily-Cat snuggling on my lap.
4. A clean apartment.

Grace in Small Things: 1 of 365

Blog. Blog, blog, blog. I always have good intentions to write on a regular basis and then ... well, it never goes anywhere. I've decided to do Schmutzie's "Grace in Small Things" and see if that doesn't get me writing regularly. I can write 5 things per day, right? Right. And maybe then I will want to start writing more than 5 things per day. Hopefully. I guess we'll find out!

1. My new, shiny, red laptop that finally arrived!
2. LOST is back.
3. Not having to drive to Rolling Meadows for jury duty.
4. The colorful office potluck lunch today - so many yummy foods!
5. These shoes.
